Interview with @isnyr [Part I]
What's your real name?
Miriam.
Where are you from?
I was born in Greece and I'm currently based in Athens.
What got you interested in art?
I grew up in an environment surrounded by art. Both my parents and most of my relatives are artists so I've been 'exposed' to art ever since I remember myself! Art has and will always be my passion.
You have a pretty unique subject matter with the mysterious animals you depict, what led you to creating drawings like this?
Animals and creatures had always been my drawing subject ever since I was little. As I grew older I started incorporating more of a ''dark'' look to my creatures. I think what led me to create in this style is my fascination with nature, cultures around the world, nature observation and dark aesthetics.

Describe your drawing environment.
I usually draw on my desk where my computer is at. When doing traditional art, I always have a couple of candles lit and my cup of tea around! I love working with materials such as watercolor, ink, guache and pen. I sometimes draw on the floor, especially if I'm working on big sized papers!
For my digital pieces, I work on my desk. Ideally I'd like to have two separate desks-one for traditional media and one for my computer and digital art.
